Vent
Compassion for people is hard sometimes. Its heartbreaking when the people who are antagonistic of my being vegan are 100 pounds overweight and clearly unhealthy. I have remember a lot of that has to do with their personal guilt and knowing they need to change. These are the same people who are devastated when their dog is sick and posts hourly updates on Facebook. How can they not make the connection that pigs and cows are just as intelligent and loving? Animal rights aside, don't they realize their quality of life could be so much better? I just want to help. I have to realize everyone has to awaken on their own in their own time. I can only help to catalyze or be there to guide. Sometimes it can be so lonely and frustrating.

One Month
Today, I have been vegan for one month. Here's what I've accomplished so far:
- Lost 4lbs
- Got rid of all animal products in my closet and pledged to not buy any more
- I started this blog and admin on a vegan facebook page
- My digestive problems went away
- I eat less and feel fuller longer
- I've fallen in love with food again
- I now enjoy cooking
- I continue to do research on animal rights issues and try and spread the word
- I've signed multiple animal rights petitions, some of which have actually facilitated change.
So what are my new goals?:
- Lose more weight
- Make my make up back completely vegan and cruelty free
- Lost 4lbs

Making a difference
After receiving over 19,000 emails they pulled rabbit fur from their products! I was one of the people who sent an email! This is so exciting to see that I was actually able to make a difference and save lives! Yay bunnies!!!!
