Foie Gras Supplying Farms

The conditions and blatant animal cruelty on the foie gras supplying farm is absolutely horrific. The animals are force fed through a giant metal tube that is shoved down their throats while the other animals look on. You can see in one of the video that tube comes up covered in blood- which makes the cruelty even more apparent. After being force fed they huddle in a corner vomiting and choking. When they are fat enough their tthroats are cut with a knife in front of each other as well and they are left to bleed to death. 

There is a happy ending to this story at least. Following Animal Equality's investigation, Health and Consumer Affairs Department of the Basque Country (Spain) fines the third best restaurant - Mugaritz and shuts down the foie gras supplying farm.
